League suspension was a blessing King Faisal -Osman Ibrahim
King Faisal Babies striker, Osman Ibrahim has stated that wheareas the COVID 19 pandemic has caused lots of issues in the world, it migh my just have been a blessing for a club like King Faisal.
Osman Ibrahim, who is on loan to King Faisal from Kotoko believes the pandemic came at a right time as his current club were struggling in the league and wins have been difficult to come by.
Speaking to Kumasi FM, the potent striker who has recorded 8 goals in the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League shares his thoughts on the surrender state of affairs. He said;
“The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a lot of problems but as King Faisal we are much elated, it has helped and favoured us a lot. But for this disease,the position of King Faisal on the league log would have brought a lot of issues,” the striker said.
“Personally,considering the position of King Faisal I want the league canceled. I am in a fine form but due to our inability to win matches my performance has been underrated,”he added.
It will be recalled that the owner and founder of King Faisal, Alhaji Karim Grunsah has been very vocal in his calls for the league to be cancelled but it is yet to be seen how that works.
