Jackie Appiah

Jackie Appiah Agyemang is a 37-year-old renowned Ghanaian actress and a brand ambassador.

With her acting skills and gorgeous looks, Jackie Appiah is Ghana’s most famous and most loved actress who made her debut in the movie industry in 2005 when she featured in hit Ghanaian series Things We Do For Love.
She later took roles in Tentacles, Sun City and many other tv series’.

She’s also known for her role in such movies as The Perfect Picture.

Early Life

Jackie Appiah was born in Canada but moved to Ghana with her mother at the age of 10when she was 10. She is the last of five children and her parents are Kwabena Appiah and Janet Owusu.


She had her primary education at the Derry down Public School, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and moved to Ghana afterward for her high school education.

While at Derry down, Jackie showed interest in acting. As such, she was always part of every end-of-the-year school play.

In 1995, Jackie relocated to Ghana to live with her elder sister and enrolled in Faith Montessori, Accra.

She later left Faith Montessori and moved to Achimota Preparatory School.

Jackie was the Girls’ Entertainment prefect at Achimota Preparatory School, and this increased her passion for art. At the time, Jackie auditioned for the Hal Jackson Talent Teens Show to perform at the famous Apollo Theatre.

Fortunately, she emerged as the first runner-up of the talent show. Jackie also studied General Arts at Harvard College, Accra.


She began her acting career when she landed the role of Enyonam Blagogee in the television series Things We Do for Love.

With her screen debut, Jackie soon established a successful acting career, in which she appeared in the hit movie Beyoncé alongside notable Ghanaian actors Van Vicker and Nadia Buari. etc


She has received a plethora of awards and nominations including the award for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 2010 Africa Movie Academy Awards and the award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the 2007 Africa Movie Academy Awards.

In 2005, Jackie and her husband Peter Agyemang got married

They have a son, Damien.

However, their marriage ended after three years of marriage.

It‘s unclear exactly what led to their irreconcilable differencesbut it‘s clear they disagree on many things. Peter Agyemang said his wife was lying to himbuzzing rumors around the media described the man as a dangerous person.

Her acting career, endorsement deals, business investments, and endorsements have earned her a lot of money.

Her net worth is believed to be about one million dollars -she also has a number of vehicles including a Range Rover, Mercedes G­Wagon, BMW X6, and a Maserati that cost around 150,000 dollars.
