His first marriage, in 1967, was to Hattie Glascoe. However, the union was short-lived and was annulled the following year.
Gossett was 24 years old when he married his first wife, Hattie Glascoe.
The lovers dated for one year and seven months before tying the knot in August 1964.
They were joined by Reverend Robert Griswold of the Church of the Apostles.
Louis’s ex-wife Glascoe has kept a low profile, and her details are not in public. None of the parties has disclosed the reason for the annulment of their marriage.
In addition, they did not bear any children.

In 1973, Gossett Jr. married Christina Mangosing. Their marriage lasted two years, and they welcomed a son, Satie Gossett, in 1974.
Their son grew up with his dad in California, USA. At some point, Christine sued her ex-husband and his girlfriend, Honey Ruffner, after their son told her that Gossett had given him a white powder.
Local authorities then raided the actor’s home and recovered 0.098 grams of cocaine powder, after which Satie was temporarily moved from his house.
However, Louis and his girlfriend pleaded guilty, and their charges were dropped, and he recovered custody of his son.
The lovebirds also requested placement in drug counselling programs.
