I Went to Do Liposuction After Ghanaians Taunted Me - Moesha Boudong

Nearly a week after Ghanaian Actress, Socialite and self-acclaimed entrepreneur, Moesha Babinoti Boudong was accused by an unknown “Snapchat”  whistle blower, of engaging in what most Ghanaians would call sexually immoral activities, the socialite has bounced back harder than ever.

The twenty-eight (28) year old actress was hosted by Nana Ama McBrown on her cooking show, McBrown’s Kitchen. When the actress was asked how she handles allegations about her butt being surgically acquired, she stated, “I went to do liposuction after Ghanaians taunted me about butt surgery”.

She further explained that after denying allegations for so long without people believing her, she decided to get her stomach liposuctioned; something people didn’t notice and further enhanced her curves. She went on to explain that those who get fat transfer to their butt can’t be said to have fake butts because it’s their own fat. Rather, the fake ones are the ones altered with silicone injections and implants.

In clarifying her comments made during her interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour for her documentary about Love, Sex and Marriage, Moesha stated “I didn’t generalize it. Maybe my choice of words didn’t favour me. I was just speaking my truth at that time in my life. I was dating a married man at the time so I got carried away. I was in love so I was just talking about it. And the show was about love, sex and marriage so I was speaking my truth’’.

She further stated “I’m no longer dating a married man. I’m out of that situation. Obviously, it’s not God’s will; he’s someone’s husband”. She also mentioned that she’s currently in a relationship with a single man, who she says, is all hers.

Asked whether she gets hurt when derogatory or hateful comments are made about her, she stated that she’s so carefree; something her dad knows all too well and says all the time. “I just see it as love rather than hate’’. She recalled getting hurt by such comments, at the beginning of her career. She says she is now tough skinned to a point where, when she’s not talked about, she gets uncomfortable and wonders what could be going wrong.
