Mikki Osei Berko, better known as Master Richard, has revealed that many of the people Ghanaians call celebrities are in fact broke people.
The veteran actor in a recent interview with Eugene Nkansah on ‘Konkonsa’, said, at least about 80 per cent of Ghanaian celebrities can’t afford decent healthcare.
“I am not a rich man and I served in the industry for 26years and there shouldn’t be a point that I won’t have money to buy fuel for my car…it does happen,” he reiterated.
Master Richard further noted that, most Ghanaian celebrities are not paid as well as they deserve ib the industry and hence the reason many of them are actually paupers.
His comment has confirmed the many sentiments shared by the likes of Stonebwoy, Lydia Forson and other industry players that the entertainment industry in Ghana is not lucrative.
