Texas A&M-Commerce football player Keith Miller III passed away on April 11 at the age of 23.

The tragic news was confirmed by his girlfriend and coaches.

Miller, a wide receiver for the Lions, was remembered fondly by his close friend Brenden Rice, a wide receiver for the USC Trojans.

Rice shared a photo of himself and Miller on his Instagram stories, along with a heartfelt message expressing his love and vowing to take care of Miller’s son.
