Richard Ofori’s future has come into question recently after being heavily linked with a move to South African giants, Orlando Pirates.
the Black Stars number 1, who currently plays for Maritzburg has excelled in the ABSA premier league in the last few seasons. it comes as very little surprise that he is the centre of attention of a big move to Pirates.
With Maritzburg possibly needing a replacement, they have turned to the Kotoko skipper with a bid expected in the next few days.
Annan’s situation at Kotoko is a very interesting one with the goalkeeper falling out of favor with coach Maxwell Konadu.
He had been on the bench since matchday 4 in the Ghana Premier League and looks to be set for a move elsewhere.
In this time, he has also lost his spot in the senior national team, the Black Stars, having missed out on the last call ups for the AFCON qualification double header against Sudan.
A bid from Maritzburg is expected in the coming days.
