Lindsay Shiver , the estranged wife of Auburn football player, Robert Shiver, has been arrested over claims she conspired with her Bahamian lover and another man to murder him.
Lindsay Shiver, from Thomasville, Georgia, is in jail in The Bahamas after local police accused her of orchestrating a plot to kill her estranged husband Robert Shiver.

Per the Bahamas Court News, police officers uncovered a plot to kill the former Auburn player while investigating a break-in at Grabbers Bar and Grill restaurant on Great Guana Cay.
Investigators came across WhatsApp messages that detailed the alleged assassination plan while searching the suspects’ phones, according to the outlet.
According to the Thomasville Times-Enterprise, a Georgia newspaper, Shiver met her alleged lover near the house she owned with Robert Shiver, who is reported to have filed for divorce after finding out about the alleged affair.
Lindsay Shiver — who was named Miss Houston County in 2005 and finished second in the National Peanut Festival pageant that year — according to the outlet allegedly paid a would-be hitman to carry out the murder after her husband filed for the split, according to WTVY.
Suspects arrested
Lindsay Shiver was arrested along with her lover Terrance Bethel, 28, and alleged hitman Farron Newbold 29.
After their arrest, Lindsay Shiver, Bethel and Newbold were transported from Guana to the Caribbean country’s capital, Nassau.
They appeared in court Friday but were not required to enter a plea, the outlet said.
The trio is due back in court Oct. 5.
