Los Angeles Chargers star pass rusher Joey Bosa appeared to suffer a significant injury early on in the Week 11 matchup with the Packers.
Bosa was carted to the locker room after going down with 13:06 left in the first quarter.
He was able to hop over to the sideline but was clearly in significant pain.
Fox sideline reporter Laura Okmin noted Bosa was crying as he was down on the sideline.
Bosa was then carted to the locker room.
Joey Bosa foot injury: What this means for the Chargers
If this is season-ending, it would be a massive blow to the Chargers defense the rest of the season.
Bosa has been one of their better players all year long, and their defense already had seen issues with him in the lineup.
On the year, Bosa has put up 20 combined tackles and 6.5 sacks.
He has been one of the more productive members of this defense, and his loss will have a big impact.
Teams will now be able to double-team someone like Khalil Mack, making life even harder for this Bolts defensive unit.
Rookie Tuli Tuipulotu will need to step up even more if Bosa is indeed out for the season, and the Chargers chances to make the playoffs may have taken another hit.
It has been a frustrating year all around for this organization, and this could be the final blow to the team.
They can still have success without Bosa, but it’s a shame that he worked so hard to come back from injury last year, to have this happen again.
