By Julian’s account, he hasn’t seen him since he was in third grade.
Instead, his father figure is his mom’s dad, his grandfather Mick Fleming, whom he calls “Pop-Pop.” Mick taught Julian everything a father would – how to throw a football, how to ride a bike (which he did without training wheels by age 3), how to drive, how to run the tractors at his landscaping business, how to plant trees. “And just how to be a good person in general,” Julian said.
