His mother later married Gary Barnett, a US Air Force sergeant, and the family moved to Phoenix, Arizona.

Errol joined CBS News in 2016 and covered top stories from the Washington bureau, including White House assignments during President Obama’s final overseas trip and President Trump’s tenure.
