Moore McNeil is a two-time Class A Tennessee Miss Basketball from Greenfield, where she averaged 20.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game as a senior.
The untimely passing of her mother, Corenda, on her 16th birthday became a moment that fueled her drive to excel in the sport.

On June 5, 2018, Chloe Moore McNeil turned 16 years old and spent the day in South Carolina celebrating her cousin’s graduation.
That same day, her mother, 41-year-old Corenda Moore, died unexpectedly at their home in Tennessee.

Corenda Shenae McNeil didn’t wake up.
She died from an enlarged heart at age 41 on June 5, 2018, leaving behind her husband and four daughters.
Chloe’ Moore McNeil step father always thought of her as his daughter, so when her mother died, the first thought was to formally adopt her.
“Chloe is able to block things out and focus on the task at hand,” McNeil said. “I know it weighs on her. It weighs on all of us. I try to let her know that dad is here. As long as the girls are OK, dad is OK.”
