Chairman Wontumi known in real life as Bernard Antwi Boasiako is a Ghanaian politician and currently the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Chairman Wontumi is also an outstanding farmer and has won the first runner up of the best
farmer award in 2018 in the Ashanti Region.
He was presented a certificate of merit which was awarded to him by the then Minister for Food and Agriculture on 7 December, 2018.

Contrary to criticisms from his critics that he dropped out of school at the primary level, Chairman Wontumi has revealed that he indeed continued up to the Secondary School level.
According to Chairman Wontumi, he actually attended the prestigious Prempeh College and revealed that he is not illiterate as been peddled around.
