Chairman Wontumi has found himself in hot waters after he was officially reported to the Police following comments he made about the teenage daughter of the NDC flagbearer, Farida Mahama.
In a report filed by MyNewsGh, the Ashanti Regional Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Kwame Zu who officially lodged the complaint with the Ghana Police, disclosed that the NDC as a party will not take chances with such comments passed by public figures.
According to Kwame Zu, he had to officially report the matter to the Ashanti Regional Crime Office of the Police Command because he considers the comments made by Chairman Wontumi to be treacherous.
Chairman Wontumi, a few days ago on his privately-owned Wontumi TV cautioned former President Mahama to be mindful of the way he continuously flaunts his daughter all over the place since someone might cause harm to the teenager.
His comments have received a lot of flak from some well meaning ghanaians and some feminists in particular who have described his comments as rape intent.
