Rebecca Jones, a Mexican-American actress who starred in many popular telenovelas, has passed away following a tragic battle with ovarian cancer and lung problems.
According to a press release, the 65-year-old star died “peacefully” and surrounded by her loved ones.
She was married for 25 years to actor Alejandro Camacho.

He was born in Mexico City, Mexico, and started his acting career in the 1970s.
He has worked on many popular telenovelas and television shows in Mexico, including Bajo la metralla (1983), Hurricane (1997) and High Risk (1981).
Rebecca Jones and Alejandro Camacho had a child together, a son named Maximiliano.
Despite their divorce in 2017, the couple has remained on good terms and continues to co-parent their children.
