Some few days ago, the boss of the Shatta Movement, Shatta Wale granted an interview where he described Wendy Shay as a perfect woman he would love to be with.
As usual, this comment from the self-acclaimed African Dancehall King made headlines and has sparked series of comments on both the traditional and social media space.
However, Wendy Addo known in showbiz as Wendy Shay has cleared the air about Shatta Wale’s statement and has responded to his comments.
In an interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon Fm on Tuesday,the songstress sang praises on Shatta Wale after she had the chance to work with him on a single together and said she feels Shatta Wale made that comment because he just wanted to be real. “When Shatta Wale and I got closer I realized that everything that had been said about him is not what he is. He’s a very kind person. To be honest, I just feel like he is trying to be real about that.”
Responding to whether he also felt the same way as Shatta described her, she said there was absolutely no reason to feel like that towards Shatta Wale because their relationship so far has been professional.
In a rather sarcastic reply to Sammy Flex, Wendy Shay after been asked who his type of man is said she loves every man. “I don’t have an ideal man. Every man goes.”
