Former president of MUSIGA, Bice Osei Kuffuor, popularly known as Obour has officially ordered his lawyers to serve the Ridge Hospital with a letter demanding the autopsy report of his late father who passed away at the facility on 27th March, 2020.
Obour’s father returned from the United Kingdom some days ago and fell ill afterwards. He was believed to have been taken to a health facility where he was diagnosed of malaria and later to the Greater Accra Regional Hospital (formerly Ridge Hospital) for further health assistance.
Tests ran on him disclosed that he had corona virus, but came a bit later after he passed on, endangering staff of the hospital. Since then, Obour has been in the backlash of the public for what people believe as deliberately failing to disclose his father’s health status.
In a letter sited by ghlinks.com.gh, the former president of MUSIGA and now the MP aspirant hopeful for Asante Akyem South constituency on the ticket of the ruling NPP has ordered his lawyers, Smith and Adelaide to serve the CEO of the hospital with a letter demanding the autopsy of his father.
According to the letter, it is to ascertain the exact cause of death of his father.
The letter further indicated that an independent professional could be contracted in that regard should the facility fail to provide someone for the job.
