NDC Behind Western Togoland Secessionists – Chairman Wontumi Alleges

Chairman Wontumi has suggested the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) are behind the Western Togoland secessionists.

According to him, a leaked tape purported to be the voice of the NDC’s National Chairman, Ofosu Ampofo can give credence to all the attacks of the separatists.

Speaking on Wontumi TV, he made reference to the voice on the tape where Mr Ampofo is alleged to have said the NDC ‘will make the country ungovernable’.

Wontumi noted that the NDC can obviously not feign ignorance on the happenings in the Volta region.

Chairman Ofosu Ampofo has denied the leaked tape which contained the said statements, insisting it’s doctored and has nothing to do with him.
