A Brooklyn man is suspected of fatally stabbing his mother inside her Bay Ridge home on Friday night, police sources say.
The son, who has not been named, allegedly believed his mother was poisoning him.
The mother, Inna Deshkovich, 52, was found dead in her bedroom with a stab wound to the neck.
Her downstairs neighbor heard fighting upstairs around 7:30 p.m. and then saw the son leave the house.
The neighbor went upstairs and found Deshkovich’s body.
Another 911 caller, who identified himself as a friend of the son’s, told the dispatcher that the son had stabbed his mother because he thought she was poisoning him.
The son was arrested outside his home in nearby Fort Hamilton just after midnight.
