Rufftwon Records signee, Fantana has established that she wasn’t in any way disappointed when she saw news and videos of her pad showing whiles she performed at Shatta Wale’s Reign Concert in October.
According to her, things of that nature can happen to anyone at any time and the best thing to do is to move on from that negativity.
Fantana was in an interview with Hitz Fm on Thursday when she disclosed this.
Fantana got involved in what some may term as embarrassing moment when her sanitary pad was captured by bloggers whiles she was performing on stage at the Reign Concert in October. As many will presume, the video went viral generating series of debates among patrons and the public at large.
In the interview on Thursday monitored by ghlinks.com.gh, the musician said she was no way moved by the incident even though she was surprised it came out that way.
She added that issues of that nature happens, making it normal. “I was not disappointed but I was like Oh my God my pad showed to a whole bunch of people. I wasn’t disappointed. It happens”, she told host Andy Dosty.
On the issue of whether she has been involved in any campaign with respect to sanitary pads, she said she has been involved with a project dubbed ‘pad-a-girl’ where she will be distributing sanitary pads to girls in schools. She said she has already done one and will do more but is currently focusing on her music.
