I Could Have Arrested Your Husband When I Was President – Mahama Tells Owusu Bempah’s Wife As He Consoles Her

Former president John Dramani Mahama had some consolation words when he met wife of Rev Owusu Bempah at the Kumasi Airport.

According to an aide of the Leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Charles Owusu, Mr Mahama expressed sympathy to the wife of the man of God noting that he held no grudge with the husband despite the many falsehood peddled against him.

“President Mahama walked to the wife and told her ‘sorry, I hear your husband has been arrested. Your husband has peddled a lot of untruths about me but I never once responded. But I will never touch God’s man,” he told Kofi Adomah on Angel FM.

“I had the power during my days as a president to arrest him, so sorry. So if you go, tell him that maybe he feels I have a gripe with him, but there is nothing like that and that I sympathize with him’,” Charles Owusu added.
