The Chief Executive Officer of Kantanka Automobile, Kwadwo Safo Kantanka Junior has disclosed that the government of Ghana has procured more than 500 of the locally manufactured cars.
He further revealed that the cars have been procured mainly to the Agric and Trade Ministries of Ghana.
Kwadwo Safo Kantanka Junior disclosed this in an interview with Bola Ray on Starr Chat on Wednesday.
The CEO also added that other government agencies have also been given these cars for official usage.
Kantanka Automobile has been operating locally for some time now, saloon cars, pick-ups and other luxury cars.
Over the years, notable public figures such as the late former Vice President, HE. Amissah Arthur, Finance Minister Ken Ofori Atta and rapper Sarkodie have shown their support to the local business by making purchases.
Acknowledging the former administration for also purchasing the cars, Kwadwo Safo Junior told host Bola Ray that the Mahama administration also made purchases for governmental usage, adding that a lot more has been under the current Nana Akuffo Addo government.
“Under this government, a lot more has been acquired. They have bought about 500 of our cars for the Agric and Trade Ministries”, he said.
The CEO also indicated that the company has opened another office in Dubai and acknowledged that they have been accepted there and are doing very well.
