Even though the Valentine celebrations are over, we are still in the love season, and most discussions have centered on love.

Ghanaian rapper Kwame Nsiah-Apau, known by his stage name as Okyeame Kwame has swayed in on the discussion of love and he thinks love isn’t a bad thing at all. As a matter of fact, he describes love as a beautiful thing.

Okyeame Kwame was in the studios of Hitz Fm on the late afternoon show CRUISE CONTROL hosted by Merqury Quaye on Tuesday.

As monitored by ghlinks.com.gh, the rapper said falling in love doesn’t bind you in your activities. He added that when you are in love, you can still enjoy the life you want to live without restriction. “People think that once you get married you can no longer hang with your friends because it’s just you, as though falling in love is a bad thing but its not like that.”

The rapper touched on the issue of marriage and its perfection and said there are challenges in marriage but at the end of the day, he and his wife are always happy and he can’t do without her. He advised that marriage should be seen as a journey of understanding between the man and his wife. He added that he brought a picture out on his 10th anniversary to illustrate that where his wife is seen in an angry mood holding a knife pointed at him. “On our 10th anniversary I decided to let people know that we do fight each other, we scream at each other but at the end of the day love is supreme because we don’t let these things affect our vibe.”

The award winning rapper talked about his upcoming event, flaunt your lover which comes off on the 23rd of February 2019 at the Pearly Gates, East Legon. He described the event as a day where lovers will have the opportunity to hang out and have an alone time while watching a movie on a park. He said it would be a great event with other celebrities passing through.
