American singer and actress, Ashanti is pregnant with her first child after rekindling her romance with Nelly earlier this year.
Ashanti sparked pregnancy speculation over the weekend when she attended Nelly’s Black and White Ball in St. Louis with her partner.
During the event, the singer put her hand on her stomach while on stage with Nelly and he did the same.
According to a fan video shared by TMZ, the couple broke into laughter after seemingly hinting that they are expanding their family.
Now that we know she’s pregnant, many of us want to know Ashanti’s due date to get an idea of when we can expect to see their baby.
When is Ashanti due date?
Ashanti hasn’t publicly disclosed her exact due date; however, most women don’t announce their pregnancy until after the first trimester.
Therefore, if Ashanti is at least three months pregnant, fans can expect to see the arrival of the little one to occur between June – July 2024.
However, without Ashanti’s (or her doctor’s) confirmation, the exact due date is anyone’s guess.
Is she having a boy or a girl?
Ashanti hasn’t spoken about whether she is expecting a baby boy or baby girl at the moment.
This will be Ashanti’s first child, while Nelly already has two kids — daughter Chanelle, 29, and son Cornell Haynes III, 24 — from his relationship with ex Channetta Valentine.
Ashanti, 43, and Nelly, 49, first started dating back in 2003. The couple were together for a little over a decade before they split up in 2015.
After their split, there were rumors that Ashanti was linked to Flo Rida (which she has denied) and James Harden (although neither of them ever confirmed if they were together).
Nelly had been briefly linked to Shantel James after the breakup.
