Shatta Wale And Stonebwoy Arrested;Spend Night In Police Custody
From all indications, the unfortunate occurrence at the 20th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards where arch rivals Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy engaged themselves in a fight on stage will bring the two to face the wrath of the law.
Yesterday, reports broke out that Stonebwoy has been arrested by the police and was been questioned as to why he had a gun on him at the Accra International Conference Center. The reports also suggested that Shatta Wale was also invited by the Ghana Police being a person of interest in the case.
In the late hours of the day, the boss of SM Empire, Shatta Wale took to his facebook page to confirm the reports of their arrest.
The only one man hit maker who obviously seemed agitated ranted on his facebook page to question why he was going to spend a night in police custody since he wasn’t the one who pulled a gun at the show. He also confirmed that the two of them are in police custody. He wrote;
“ so the two of us have been arrested…. It’s nice.
You point a gun at me and now I have been arrested too… oh nice.
Look mi and throw away the keys and I will still sing and thank God for everything…
Today me and your artiste all dey sleep inside!!!
That’s the news!!!”
In another post, he wrote;
“Adey go sleep Tesano police station… Fans go live and sing my songs till I come back home…
I am not afraid of the 1000 enemies cuz I trust in the Lord for his safety!!!
I love you all…”
The fan base of Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy clashed on the stage of the VGMAs on Saturday after Shatta Wale and his fans forced their way to mount the stage of the VGMAs when Stonebwoy was picking up an award for Reggae/dancehall artiste of the year. In the turn of events, Stonebwoy pulled a gun on stage amidst the chaos.
