My Wish Is To See Bawumia As President Of Ghana – Chief Imam

The Ashanti Regional Chief Imam, Sheikh Abdul Mumin Haroun has said that it will bring joy to the Muslim community in Ghana to see one of their own, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as President.

Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has been tipped to be the likeliest replacement for President Akufo-Addo as flagbearer of the NPP.

He is expected to go head to head with three-time aspirant, Alan Kyeremateng.

However, in an interview with Kwame Adinkra on Kumasi-based Pure FM, Ashanti Regional Chief Imam, Abdul Mumin Haroun said it is his wish that the Vice President gets the nod to lead the NPP and subsequently lead the country as President.
