Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has revealed that some Pastors are leading a massive agenda against vice president Mahamudu Bawumia in order to prevent the second gentleman from leading the NPP and subsequently leading the country.
Mr Kennedy Agyapong, speaking on Oman FM revealed that he belongs to a platform of Pastors, and this is the agenda some of them have started pushing, even though he declined to mention names at the moment.
The Assin Central MP expressed worry at the fact that such an agenda will be pursued in a country like Ghana where democracy has seen much growth.
Mr Agyapong said anyone who qualifies to lead the country should be allowed to irrespective of the person’s religious background.
