Mark Dodson, a voice actor best known for his work in “Gremlins,” passed away unexpectedly at the age of 64.
According to Dodson’s daughter, he traveled to Evansville, Indiana, to attend Horror Con and checked into his hotel.
Tragically, he suffered a fatal heart attack while sleeping.

Mark Dodson’s first big break in Hollywood came in 1983 — he was the voice of Salacious Crumb, the little creature with the high-pitched voice that was always seated dangerously close to Jabba the Hut in ‘Return of the Jedi.’
Dodson’s voice talents breathed life into characters across various films and video games.
Notably, he voiced some of the mischievous creatures in the classic movie “Gremlins.”
His contributions extended to iconic franchises like “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi” and horror films like “Day of the Dead.”
Mark worked continuously for several decades in film, video games, radio and commercials.
