Who Is Jackie Acheampong ( Gyakie )
Jacqueline Acheampong is an emerging Ghanaian singer-songwriter who hails from Abuakwa in the Ashanti region. She, however, goes by the stage name “Gyakie”.
At age 20, she has got some endorsement from the likes of Sarkodie, Captain Planet (4×4), Efya, DJ Lord, and others.
She was nominated in the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) 21 in the unsung category.
Her first-ever feature with the award-winning highlife artiste Bisa Kdei, called “Sor Mi Mu” was released in February 2020.
This came months after her first stage experience at the Repu Hall Week 2019 where she had to braze through her performance with a faulty sound system.
