I made Stormzy famous in Ghana; many people did not know him – Yaw Tog

Ghanaian rapper, Yaw Tog, has stated that he is responsible for making the UK star Stormzy popular in Ghana.

During an interview with MzGee on TV3, the Sore hitmaker indicated that he made Stormzy more popular in Ghana since many people were not familiar with him.

“He made me more popular in this market. I made him more popular here too because people didn’t know Stormzy in Ghana here”, Yaw Tog said.

In spite of this, the artiste who is known as The Young Bull said Stormzy was responsible for his popularity in the music industry.

Following the success of his song Sore, the young artiste was spotted by the UK-based artist after the song made waves in Ghana.

In an effort to support emerging talent, the Blinded By Your Grace hitmaker visited Ghana to work with Yaw Tog on a remix of Sore.
