He kickstarted his acting journey by joining acting classes conducted by Northern Film and Drama in 2009.
Since 2011, Smith has been portraying the character of Craig Tinker, the son of Beth Tinker (Lisa George), on Coronation Street.
His character’s compelling storylines have revolved around battling OCD and transitioning into a police officer.
