English actor Bradley Riches has been making a name for himself on stage and screen.
Born in Surrey, England in December 2001, Riches discovered his passion for acting after joining a drama group at a young age.
This helped him find his voice and build confidence.
Openly gay and diagnosed with autism at 9, Riches has spoken about the challenges of navigating a world that often doesn’t cater to neurodiversity. But he hasn’t let that stop him.
Riches’ acting career began on stage in 2016, where he played a variety of roles, including twins! He then landed a small part in the movie “1917.”
In 2022, Riches took on the role of a student at Truham Grammar School in the popular Netflix series “Heartstopper.”
His character, James McEwan, became more prominent in the second season, developing a crush on another student.
Riches has also ventured into writing, releasing his debut children’s book, “A Different Kind of Superpower,” in November 2023.
This semi-autobiographical work aims to empower children with autism and celebrate neurodiversity as a strength.
Always up for a new challenge, Riches is set to appear in the upcoming season of “Celebrity Big Brother” this month.
Later in 2024, he’ll be bringing his talents to the BBC One comedy horror series “Wreck.”
With his diverse projects and openness, Bradley Riches is an actor to watch.
