Nigerian music artist, Chukwuka Ekweani, best known as Ckay, has emerged as one of Nigeria’s fastest-rising stars.
After releasing his wildly successful song, Love Nwantiti, CKay became one of the hottest stars on the scene.
The popular love song paved the way for him to achieve a huge milestone in his career at such a very young age.

Born in Kaduna State to Dr. and Mrs. Ekweani, Chukwuka, Ckay is originally from Anambra state.
When he was 7 years old, his father, who was a church choir conductor at the time, introduced him to music.
When he was 13 years old, he started writing music and producing it.

Having relocated to Lagos in 2014, CKay began working as an intern at Chocolate City Music in 2015.
His involvement at Chocolate City Music continued until he was later signed to Loopy Music, which became part of Chocolate City once MI became CEO.
“Third Mainland Bridge” was his debut production, featuring MI and Moto Cakes on TICBN vol 1.
MI also featured him on “The Box” with Pryse- Illegal Music 3.
He produced and wrote songs for different artists as well as outside the label, which earned him the respect of A&R staff. As a result, he began to shine as an artist.
In August 2016, he was officially signed to the label.
As of 2017, he released an EP called WHO THE F*** IS CKAY that includes two records – “Nkechi” and “Gaddemit ft. Dremo“.
Ckay has a number of notable works, his 2018 single, “Container,” was massively accepted by listeners.
Some of his other notable songs include “Love Nwantiti“, “Gaddemit“, “Chinekeme“, “Last Call” and “Gmail” featuring DMW rapper, Dremo.
