We All Got Played - Lydia Forson

Outspoken Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson has added her voice to the tall list Ghanaian female celebrities who have voiced out their displeasure after their meeting with Cardi B failed to start on time.

According to her, they all got played by the organizers, the reason for the unfortunate incident.

Cardi B landed in Ghana ahead of her concert at the Accra Sports Stadium later in the evening.

As communicated by the organizers the US based rapper was supposed to meet some female Ghanaian celebrities but things turned soar when they waited for several hours and yet the rapper failed to show up. This caused most of them to rant on social media describing the incident as unfair and an insult to them.

In her post which she posted on twitter, the actress making her stance straight said the organizers failed to properly communicate happenings for the afternoon, the reason for the unfortunate incident. She indicated that she left earlier the moment she realized the event wasn’t private as communicated to them earlier.in two separate posts, she said;

“I knew this was NOT on @iamcardib the minute I go there and realized it wasn’t as ‘private’ as the organizers had indicated.

Its y l left.

Truth is, we all got played”

“I appreciate everyone who realizes that my accepting an invitation from somebody I ‘respect’ in the industry to what was supposed to be a ‘private lunch’ is not an indication of me ‘lowering myself’.

Obviously it was poorly organized and that’s the crime here, not us for showing up”.
