The most anticipated music event on the Ghanaian music calendar, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) has been slated for 18th May, 2019.

Barely a month ago, Chater house Ghana, organizers of the prestigious annual event unveiled the list of nominees for the various categories of this year’s event.

On the 18th of May 2019, over 60 nominees from the music industry, music stakeholders and the general public is expected to converge at the Accra International Conference Center to award excellence in the Ghanaian music industry amidst thrilling performances from A-class musicians across Ghana.

The event will also be graced by foreign music stakeholders from Africa as well as performances.as it does every year.

All in all, a total of 15 energetic performances are expected that evening.

Being the 20th year since its inception, Chatterhouse Ghana, organizers of the award scheme has promised a night that will go down in the history books of Ghana music as lots of fun packed activities are expected. There has also been an unveiling of a new plague to mark the 20th celebration of awarding hard work and excellence in Ghanaian music.
