A motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in West Toledo, Toledo police reported.
Thomas Karnowski, 51, was operating a motorcycle approaching Custer Drive on westbound Laskey Road about 10:45 a.m. when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle driven by Louise Grubinski, 76, who was attempting to turn left.
Mr. Karnowski later died at Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center, while Ms. Grubinski was injured and treated at the scene by the Toledo Fire and Rescue Department.
The crash remained under investigation later Thursday.
