About Ckay
Ckay real name Chukwuka Ekweani, is the son of Dr. & Mrs. Ekweani of Kaduna State.
His parents originate from Anambra state.
He was first exposed to the art of music at the age of seven by his father, who was a choir conductor in the church at the time.
At age 13, he began to produce and write music.
Ckay relocated to Lagos in 2014 and began working with Chocolate City Music as a production intern in early 2015, where he continued to work with the studio until later in the same year when he was signed by Loopy Music, which merged with Chocolate City when MI became the CEO.
