Many Ghanaians upon hearing the news of the demise of Seth Prophet Frimpong have been quick to adjudge the cause of his death as the deadly novel coronavirus.

However, speaking in an interview on Happy FM Ghanaian gospel musician and close friend of the deceased, Evangelist Diana Asamoah stated clearly that the late Prophet Seth Frimpong did not die from COVID-19.

She said, “No one should say COVID-19 killed Prophet Seth Frimpong. He was a diabetic and that was what killed him.”

According to her; “He had gone on a fast regardless of his condition. I didn’t think it wise for him to even fast with such a condition. But when God takes over your life, you disregard a lot of things.”

Diana Asamoah described the late Prophet Seth Frimpong as a man who loved the Lord and did not allow any condition he suffered to prevent him from serving Him.

Ghanaian gospel musician, Prophet Seth Frimpong passed away in the early hours of Friday, April 24, 2020.

The gospel artiste, also known as the dancing prophet is responsible for hit songs such as ’Ade A Nyame Aka’, ‘Engosi Aga’ and ‘Mehuri So’.
