A Covington mother identified as Selena Farrell is wanted by the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office for running away after her 2-year-old child was shot and killed in a Covington shooting Monday afternoon.
Kenton County Commonwealth’s Attorney Rob Sanders said Selena Farrell, 23, has a warrant for violating probation and police want to speak to her about the shooting.
“She fled before police arrived and never showed up at the hospital,” a post from the attorney’s office said.
The post said she is not believed to be the shooter.
