Phylis Vesta Boison crowned Miss Malaika 2019

Miss Phylis Vesta Boison has been crowned as winner of Miss Malaika Ghana 2019 beauty pageant.

This was announced at an august ceremony held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the National Theatre in Accra, Ghana.

Freda Mbord Astanga and Habiba Bint-Abdalla were also announced by host Berla Mundi as the 1st & 2nd runners-up, respectively.

Patrons at the grand finale were thrilled with electrifying performances from Ghanaian musicians such as Medikal, Kuami Eugene, Kelvyn Boy, DopeNation, and Adina.

Phylis Vesta Boison who was crowned as 2019 Miss Malaika Ghana queen is a student of Ghana’s premium University, University of Ghana studying BSc. Accounting.

She now joins the likes of Melissa Mensah (2004), Patricia Akuamoah (2005), Hamamat Montia (2006), Geraldine Partington (2011), Bridget Sharon Cofie ( 2012), Naa Oyoe Quartey (2013), Leah Brown (2016), etc. as Miss Malaika Ghana beauty queens.

The judges for the Miss Malaika Ghana 2019 beauty pageant were James Gardner, Kojo Jones, Joselyn Dumas, Naa Ashorkor Mensah Doku, and Claudia Lumor.

The 17th edition of miss Malaika Ghana is produced by the nation’s biggest event company, Charterhouse and is proudly sponsored by Infinix Mobility, Loreal Africa, Kenya Airways, Koppan Hospitality, GTP, Ghone Tv, Japan Motors, Jumia, Holy Trinity Spa and Tomreik Hotel.
