Newly crowned VGMA Artiste of the Year, Kuami Eugene has sent a message to critics calling for his head for winning the award for this year’s Artiste of the Year at the VGMAs.
According to him, they are all hypocrites who don’t deserve to be given attention.
Kuame Eugene made this statement in an interview with 30 Minutes Live.
There has been a series of backlashes directed towards Chatter House, organizers of the annual music awards show, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards for awarding Kuame Eugene Artiste of the Year at the 2020 award show. According to various critics, Chatter House hasn’t been honest with their submissions because artistes like Kofi Kinaata and Sarkodie are more deserving of the award.
Expressing his disappointment in such statements from the general public, Kuame Eugene noted that people are more concentrated on negative news rather than positive news.
He explained that those saying he deserved the award last year but not this year should be ashamed of themselves because they failed to address the fact that he should have won the award. He asked his fans and faithfuls to disregard such issues because those spreading falsehood are hypocrites.
