Accra Great Olympics have all but secured the services of two players, Charles Danso and Ebenezer Sekyere from Obuasi based club, Asokwa Deportivo.
Wonder club Accra Great Olympics have stepped up their business in the transfer window and are close to confirming the signing of two players from Asokwa Deportivo.
The two, Ebenezer Sekyere And Charles Danso are highly rated in the Division One League and have been the centre of attention from several premier league clubs.
However, it seems Olympics have acted swiftly in their ploy to capture the players. The ‘Oly Dade’ boys are now reported to have agreed all personal terms of the signature of the two players and will announce the signings in the coming days.
This comes after the club released 14 players from their squad list in their bid to rebuild their squad for the remainder of the season.
Among the squad released were experienced heads Godfred Saka and Emmanuel Clottey.
Olympics’ last outing in the league was a 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Accra Hearts of Oak.
Since then, they have gained three points via protest after they won their case against Tarkwa based Medeama Sporting Club.
Coach Annor Walker will be hoping the signing of these players will signal a turn in fortunes for the club.
