Three people were killed and a 12-year-old boy was seriously injured in a crash in north St. Louis County late Sunday night.

Cpl. Dallas Thompson with the Missouri State Highway Patrol said the crash happened at about 10:50 p.m. Sunday on Lewis and Clark Boulevard near Comet Drive.

According to the highway patrol’s crash report, a 2014 Chevrolet Caprice crossed the center line and crashed head-on into a 2021 Nissan Altima.

The crash report said the driver of the Caprice, a 25-year-old man, was killed in a crash. The 12-year-old boy riding in the car with him was seriously injured. The boy was rushed to St. Louis Children’s Hospital for treatment.

Two women, a 20-year-old and a 21-year-old, were inside the Altima. Both were killed in the crash.

They have been identified by loved ones as Dimenae Lashell and Ahmya.

The crash report did not say what led up to the Caprice crossing the center line.
