NPP and NDC have damaged the country – Kumi Guitar

Ghanaian hi-life musician, Nana Yaw Kumi popular by stage name Kumi Guitar has stressed that political parties, NPP and NDC are the cause of the many damages in the country.

He further blamed the underdevelopment of Ghana on these two political parties.

In an interview with Amansan Krakye of Kastle Fm, the singer said the two political parties have left the country in its state because of the wrong political approaches to governance.

He cited examples of abandoned projects by the two when they manage to overthrow the ruling one and indicated that such instances weaken the financial purse of the country.

“You can see the damage both NPP and NDC have been causing us as a nation. This one comes to power and will buy a lot of cars but when they leave the one who comes after will abandon them to rot but it’s our money that was used to purchase those vehicles. You’d go to some places and you’ll see motorbikes, other places are houses and because the one who started is no more in government we allow it to go waste and we allow rodents and reptiles to take over the abandoned building project whether it’s a school or hospital but all these would have to stop,” he said.

Kumi Guitar added that if the country could choose other political parties other than the NDC or NPP so we see what they can also do in terms of governance, it would really help.
