Known in showbiz as Nana Ama McBrown, the actress’ maiden name is Felicity Ama Agyeman. Her extensive resume in showbiz includes her currently being a Scriptwriter, Entrepreneur, Film Director, the host of her Cooking Show – McBrown’s Kitchen, being a brand ambassador for HiSense, etc.
Congratulations are in order, as the multifaceted TV Personality announced the birth of her daughter on 7th March, 2019 by posting photos and a video from her pregnancy shoot, via Instagram. Her most recent picture about her successfully delivery has been captioned “Say a big THANK YOU to GOD for me oo #MyTestimony is here #MyPrincess.”
Her bundle of joy is being celebrated especially on social media by colleagues, family and well-wishers.
It’s easy to understand their joy, as, it’s quite challenging for women in their forties and above, to successfully conceive a baby and deliver without complications; something she has done at age forty-five (45).
The actress, who has been in the limelight for at least eighteen (18) years and has over the years, warmed her way into the hearts of many and become a household name.
Over the years, she has mastered the art of keeping her love life and personal life private. This includes her alleged relationship with “Tentacles” co-star, Omar Sheriff Captan, back in the 2000s; a rumour they never confirmed.
The only relationships she confirmed were her relationship with Okyeame Kwame (Rap Doctor) and of course her relationship with now husband, Maxwell Mawu Mensah; the pair has been married for three years.
As a result of the actress staying mum about her personal life and rumours, it came as no surprise when she didn’t give credence to rumours about her pregnancy. It wasn’t until January 2019, when she somehow hinted at being pregnant on Yvonne Okoro’s Cooking Show – Cooks and Braggarts, by saying “It won’t be too long, McBrown will be dropping two this year; two albums” when Yvonne asked her how many children Ghanaians should expect from her.
