Nigerian actress and producer, Mary Remmy-Njoku has spoken on how her marriage to Jason Njoku lasting long despite the ups and downs.
She said that being married for 10 years is not easy and she would contrary to beliefs of opinions, their marriage is not perfect.
The Nollywood star opened up during an Instagram Live session, where she noted that she does not believe in publicising everything about her husband on social media.
She revealed that her friend and colleague has been begging her to brag about how strong and successful her marriage has been, but she does not want to sell a false narrative.
Mary said that they have been able to stay together for a decade because they love each other and are willing to stay together regardless of whatever challenges they may encounter as a couple.
She went on to say that if someone’s marriage is not shaky, then that person is not in a marriage.
The mother of three said that the shakiness in marriage starts from day 1 after tying the knot and officially start living as husband and wife.
