John Mahama has issued an order to all executives of the NDC to put a stop to every scheduled campaign activity for the next three days in order to monitor the ongoing exhibition exercise.
This directive by the former President is to allow the executives to rather spend time to monitor the ongoing voter exhibition exercise by the Electoral Commission (EC). The exercise, which was scheduled to end on Friday, has been extended to Sunday, September 27.
According to the NDC flagbearer, no matter the intensity and quality of the campaign, the Party cannot achieve the desired outcome if the primary document to be used for the election is flawed.
John Mahama has also instructed all executives to submit a report after their monitoring exercise before they can resume campaign activities.
Meanwhile, the NDC flagbearer has once again warned that he will not accept the results of a flawed election.
“When you go in secrecy and do all kind of things and the processes are flawed, you don’t expect me to accept the results of a flawed election. I won’t.”. He said.
