John Mahama has reiterated that the party will by no means accept the results of this year’s elections if it is considered flawed.
According to John Mahama, he cannot tell whether it is incompetence or malice on the part of the Electoral Commission to have names omitted from the voters’ register.
The former president who has halted his campaign tour due to the anomalies in the voters’ register urged the EC TO sanitise the register and re-exhibit it to afford the voting public an opportunity to verify their particulars in the voters register before it is finalised.
”But let me reiterate again that we will not accept the results of a flawed election. We will certainly not look on, neither will we shirk our civil responsibility and allow the EC whether by ill intent or sheer incompetence to usurp the people’s mandate in the December 7, polls,” he said.
