I Prophesized Shatta Wale's Greatness When He Was Nobody - Tinny

Veteran Ghanaian rapper, Tinny has said that he saw the greatness of dancehall star Shatta Wale during the early days of the star’s career some 15 years ago and prophesized his greatness on Shatta Wale’s ‘Moko Hoo’ song which he featured on.

The veteran rapper made this revelation in an interview with Kastle Fm’s Amansan Krakye.

Shatta Wale has risen to world fame with his dancehall music and has credited Tinny as his godfather on several platforms.

Speaking on how he knew Shatta was going to be popular, Tinny said when he featured on ‘Moko Hoo’ some years back when Shatta Wale was known as Bandana, he listened to his delivery on the song and knew he was meant for greatness. He added that he said it in the song that Shatta Wale as a world force that will take over the world.

He said;

“I said it in the Moko hoo song that Shatta is a killer and you can’t contest him. He’s like a thumb that when he’s not there you can’t tie a knot. That time he was nobody, he was now coming up and to have a brand like Tinny on the song which nobody knows that artiste for me to big him up on a song like that should let you know that I dreamt the dream before reality”.
