Stonebwoy has officially spoken about the incidence involving him and rapper Sarkodie’s Manager Angel Town at the Black Love Concert which came off in August this year.
According to him, hitting Angel Town wasn’t intentional.
Stonebwoy made the news when stories about his misunderstanding with Angel went viral. According to reports, the dancehall star hit Angel Town at the pre-recording concert after he felt disrespected by the management of Sarkodie. Stonebwoy later failed to mount the stage to perform at the concert.
In an interview with Andy Dosty of Hitz Fm to finally clear the air, Stonebwoy said the media blew the whole incident out of context. He explained that he didn’t intend to hit Angel Town as he might have done so out of anger.
He said there was a heated environment thereafter a little confusion and dint even know he had hit him until days after when he saw the images on social media. He added that he even stayed up to two hours after the incident but still couldn’t perform.
He concluded by expressing disappointment in Sarkodie for reporting the incident to the police.
